The Reason for Exit drop-down field has got 5 Options to select; they are mentioned below.
On selecting the apt one, the corresponding alphabet would appear in the PF ECR file while filing the Monthly Returns.
They would appear under the column Reason for Leaving (Column Y) of the CSV File.
1 If Cessation or Resignation or Termination is selected, then C is reflected.
2 If Death in Service is selected, then D is reflected.
3 If Permanent Disability is selected, then P is reflected.
4 If Retirement is selected, then R is reflected.
5 If Superannuation is selected, then S is reflected.
