Employees may request a change of shifts for various personal reasons, such as health, personal commitments, or any other reason.
Once the employees apply for a shift request, the respective reporting manager immediately gets an email alert with details of their request.
Please note: Shift Changes will be done once the Assign Shift action is completed.
On the Home page, click the “Menu Bar”
Click “shift”.
Click “Request Change”.
Select “FROM DATE” and “TO DATE”.
Select “SHIFT” from the drop-down. The options available are
- Whitelisting IP
- Geo Fencing
- Geo Tagging
White-listing IP Address
Choose this option if you want employees to Swipe-In and Swipe-Out through ESS from a specific IP Address.
Geo-Fencing
Here, access to the Attendance system is restricted to a particular location.
The employee must swipe in and out from the “location” defined by the company.
The latitude, longitude, and perimeter are defined, enabling employees to swipe within the defined Perimeter.
Geo Tagging
This is similar to the “Web Check-In” option, with the additional feature of capturing the Location from where an employee uses the Swipe-In and Swipe-Out options.
Enter the “REMARKS”
Click “Request”.
