Timestamp is the recording of an employee's attendance.
The Attendance system automatically calculates the attendance in and out time, and if your company has opted for the biometric policy, you can view your daily in and out time.
At certain times, the attendance may not be captured due to various reasons like
- You may have forgotten to mark/swipe in the attendance.
- You were traveling on an official business.
- An issue in the Attendance system, etc.
These issues can be changed/ updated by the Timestamp Change Request.
Once the employee applies for a time stamp request as a reporting manager
you will have the approval option in ESS to approve/decline your reportees' Time Stamp requests.
On the Home page, click the “Menu Bar”
Click “approvals”
Select the “Attendance”, Year, and Status from the drop-down menus.
Once we select the status as pending, all the pending requests will be displayed.
Check the box against the employee and click “Approve” or “Reject” option.
Once you have approved/declined the request, the respective employee will get an email notification.
You can also approve /decline the request via email without logging into ESS by clicking the appropriate button.
